Daily Devotional March 10th 2021: No Such Thing as a "Gay" Sodomite

What people do in their bedrooms is their business. But when they flaunt perversion publically, they defile even our children. I was therefore truly joyful when I read that Milo announced that he’s ‘sodomy-free’ and no longer "gay". Praise God, he turned from his wicked ways. But I would argue, Milo never was happy as a sodomite. In saying he's now "ex-gay", LifeSite News falsely suggests Milo isn't happy now but has been then. Let's get one thing straight: I refuse" to attribute the word 'gay' to sodomites. The definitions, according to most dictionaries of the word "gay", are:

adj. Of, relating to, or having a sexual orientation to persons of the same sex.
adj. Showing or characterized by cheerfulness and lighthearted excitement; merry.
adj. Bright or lively, especially in color.

Words have power, you see. The devil can't make his own words; he steals them and destroys their meaning. The left is good at that.

The latter two entries are the original and correct definitions. Sodomites are misguided individuals, and their actions are an abomination to the LORD. They are demon oppressed or mentally sick, often both. There can be no happiness in perverting God's nature. It's a cover story to make a sinner feel better about an ungodly practice. For them (as for all the left), it is all about their own feelings and gratification, not righteousness. There are about 1-4% of the population who brag about being sodomites, many of them are peer-pressured. Sadly, they don't have the rock that is Jesus in them, the backbone to stand up for the things of God. The emperor has no clothes.

There is nothing HAPPY about abusing children as young as 3 years old and brainwashing them into accepting a sex change. It is a crime against humanity. Oh Lord, how long will you watch this evil before intervening for Your children's sake.

There is nothing HAPPY about doing what is an abomination to the LORD. A few weeks ago, I caught the tail end of a dating series where people moved abroad to be with their romantic partner. They featured a same-sex 'couple' where one dude traveled to Mexico to be with the other dude. They portrayed it as if this was romance. At one point, they went to the coast and sat under a giant statue of Jesus. One of them asked the other with audible insecurity in his voice, "What do you think, Jesus would approve of our relationship, would he not?". The other one answered equally hesitant: "Yeah, I think so... yeah, Jesus loves us...". 

I pray these two will eventually open their Bible and read what Jesus says about sodomy. 

Leviticus 18:22
“Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

Leviticus 20:13
“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”

Mark 10:6 - 10:9
6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;
8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.
9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Just to be clear, Leviticus 20:13 is still valid but now refers to the second death. Sodomites will die not by the hand of man as it was before Christ when people lived under the law, but they will perish of their own making because they have rejected the Lord's grace of His sacrifice. The second death is the eternal separation from God, the abyss. But there is a good chance God won't wait that long either, because evil is pushing and pushing and pushing. Don't you know not to test the Lord?

Jude 1:7
“Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”

If you are a sodomite, it is entirely up to you what you do in your bedroom. It's between you and God, whether you accept God or not. I have talked to many same-sex 'couples'. I treated them as equal to everyone else in my managerial positions over the years. I even had drinks with them because they were friends of my friends (who are now no longer my friends); they knew I was a Christian. As long as their sexual preference doesn't involve children, as long as they don't insist on making unwanted advances, as long as they don't demand that we celebrate their sinful ways, it is your life. We preach God's righteousness and pray. But most of them are not content with mere acceptance. They want to drag everyone down to their depraved level, even the children. And this is where we as Christians must draw the line. 

The thief never stops until he has stolen all that he can. The destroyer never ceases to cause carnage until everything lies in ruins. The murderer does not cease to inflict injury until life is extinguished.

John 10:10
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Milo has got it right. But LifeSite News, calling him ex-gay, didn't. Milo said he was now sodomy-free. Kudos, to you. I just wish LifeSite news would have also pressed you on repentance. They didn't. Milo didn't seem to be bothered about it either. Let's hope he will humble himself and do what's right in the eyes of God. That'd be truly gay!

How to Pray

Call upon the Heavenly Father and pray in the name of Jesus.
Bless God and worship Him before any petition.
Praise God before you ask for anything because He is worthy.
Be grateful for your lawful wife or husband. For your children, because they are a blessing from God.
Ask God to give you wisdom and discernment when dealing with sodomites, to tell them the truth with courage and love, remaining under God's protection.
Pray for the people who have been misled to think that sodomy is natural - that they may see the truth through God's Word and turn from their wicked ways.
And pray that LORD shall keep your heart and mind from sin.

Psalms 112:10
“The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.”
