Daily Devotional Feb 27th 2021: Profanity Is Vanity
Did you see resident Biden in Texas yesterday? He "spoke" in front of a pool of reporters. There may even have been 6 supporters. In Texas, he looked lost, more so than in his basement. Criminal Biden stumbled through the speech, at one point stating: "I don't know what I am doing." We agree, Mr. Biden. The enemy hasn't chosen you wisely as their mouthpiece. Picking a hair-sniffing, hair-rasing story-teller, incompetent and corrupt, seems counterproductive at first. But the enemy, although not very bright, surely is much smarter than his minion, Biden. The optics of the resident and the vice resident are horrendous. It is purposefully designed to provoke us into a rage and trigger our emotions to entice violence, to trigger a civil war.
Sure, I am outraged by their evil, rubbing their election steal and their unlawful policies in our faces. I am angered beyond description by their perverse actions, the wars they start without just cause, the babies they murder because there is no compassion or righteousness in them. We are dealing with sociopaths. We are dealing with criminals. We are dealing with people who have chosen a path that is so dark that we find it difficult to understand their thinking and comprehend their actions. The in-our-face mocking of our values is designed to trick us into yelling profanities at them, to create underneath the real spiritual war, a bloody physical war. They are the people of deception, death, and destruction. But don't we know better?
For a while, my blood was boiling whenever these demon-oppressed people spoke. It started, and I recall it as if it was yesterday when I saw rapist Clinton and his wife, Jezebel, for the first time on national TV. The initial thought that came to my mind was: Oh, what a fake. He tries to be like JFK. Even though I wasn't a Christian just yet, God had granted me discernment. Back then, I was raging, spewing profanities, lowering myself to the enemy's level. Today, I am still disgusted, but I smile at their attempt to get me out of kilter. Yep, I smile, because I know the tactics, the same old modus operandi that never changes. I smile because I know who is ultimately in control. It's not them. It's the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. My anger becomes sheer determination to prevail against the assault on humanity-on God's creation.
They have shown their cards; that's one of President Trump's most amazing, dare I say, supernatural accomplishments. Did you hear Mr. Nadler yesterday in the halls of Congress, declaring God's will was of no concern for Congress? Oh my, Mr. Nadler, thank you for overplaying your hand. May you be dealt your deck of cards accordingly, lest you repent and turn from your wicked ways.
Here is what we ought to do: Even though righteous anger stirs in me, I laid in bed last night, praying for Biden and his handlers and minions. I prayed for them to see God's truth, and to follow His statutes so that we may live in peace. I didn't curse Biden. He curses himself. I didn't wish him harm; he brings harm upon himself.
Matthew 12:36 - 12:37
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
For this reason, and because we are a family-friendly platform, we do not tolerate profanity or calls for violence. As a bonus, our policy eliminates 99% of the enemy who considers trolling this site. No thanks, you have Twitter, Facebook, and other nefarious social media sites where you spew your hate. Here, we keep it clean and godly, because profanity is vanity.
How to Pray
LORD, You are an awesome God. Your Word is Wisdom. It is sweeter than honey, and we crave it more than any worldy riches.
Forgive me, Father God, for swearing when I am angry or when things do not go according to my plan or expectation.
Help me, LORD, by Your Holy Spirit, to tame my tongue, to add value to others in everything a say and do.
Help me, LORD, to show compassion even to the fallen, that you may rescue them, too, from the snares of evil.
Thank You, LORD.
