Daily Devotional Feb 23rd 2021: An Answer to Any Question in Your Life
Today, I am challenging you to try out something. I argue this: the Bible has an answer to any and every question and situation in YOUR life; may it be personal, political, social, or otherwise, God hasn't written the Bible for naught. It is a practical answer that applies to all of our questions.
What better way to guide our path than listening to instruction in righteousness. Of course, we can find those directions best when we know the Bible. When I read certain comments or answer a question, many times, a Scripture pops into my mind, a verse or passage that turns out to be the perfect answer to that person's situation, even my own. And that verse fits like a glove. I am just as imperfect as everybody else. Why would I rely on my own, fallible ways? But God is perfect. He is the same forever.
Malachi 3:6
“For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”
God has all answers. He is always right and righteous.
The Bible is a divinely inspired masterpiece of art, a message from God outside our time domain. His Word applies to all of us, yet we discern unique elements of it based on what we need to know at that moment. The multi-dimensional applicability of the Word of God forms messages that our Spirit deciphers based on our current situation. It's amazing. Read a verse today, meditate on it. Document your discernment. Do the same three months later, and that very verse conveys another message, not contrary to the initial understanding, but with new insights and revelation.
There is no hesitation, no guesswork, no wondering if the answer I received is still valid tomorrow. Compare this with humanity who changes opinions like clothes.
Many people, even Christians, regard the Bible as a religious text, high-level doctrine, hard to understand, writings that non-applicable to life today, These are often the same people who claim the Constitution is outdated. Birds of a feather.
Nugget: the Bible often uses birds to signify evil/the enemy: Genesis 15:11, Matthew 13:4, Deuteronomy 28:26, and the real scorcher: Revelation 18:2). Now, this is symbolic, and the innocent birds in nature have nothing to do with it...
Back to the Bible. There are even "churches" out there that claim that the Bible is not the Word of God. They are heretics, infiltrators, false teachers, and false prophets, just like the Rinos who usurp Republican offices. Traitors to their voters. Traitors to God.
The Bible is the most authoritative instruction manual for daily living ever made known to man. Let me illustrate my claim with an example.
The PCR COVID test. Some say it's accurate and doesn't do harm. Others strongly disagree. If you decide not to submit to a mandatory PCR test, look at the Bible and listen to the Instruction of the Son of God for this type of situation. Here is an excerpt from an article that illustrates how to go about not taking the PCR test and do so lawfully. One verse came to mind as I read this:
But here is the practical advice for this matter:
If you're worried about the brutal Covid-19 nasal test and would like an alternative, or if you already refuse to have it done, yet somehow find yourself in the situation where you are forced by police for some reason to have an on-the-spot test, or it is a requirement for work or something else, here's what I would do:
First of all, never refuse to have a test, or anything else for that matter, because a refusal creates a controversy and in law you can now be prosecuted.
Secondly, as it says in Matthew 5:25 always "agree with thine adversary," because no controversy = no case, but you don't want to just agree, you also want to agree on your own terms, for instance if it was me I'd say "I'm happy to be tested on the following 3 conditions
- That you use the cotton buds I provide you, which happen to be unopened (unless you can't avoid using an already opened pack of your own buds)
- That nothing is added to the cotton buds I give you before or during testing me; and
- That you perform a mouth swab, and nothing is put up my nostril.
(You could also add in 4. That you pay me £10,000)
If they refuse, ask them are you refusing to test me?
All they need is your DNA to perform the test, so if they say we need to do a nasal test, ask them "is that to gather my DNA?" They should say yes, then you can say "are you telling me that the usual way of gathering DNA through a mouth swab doesn't gather DNA anymore?" They should say "no" then you can say "OK, well can we stick to the proven and tested measures for gathering DNA then?" if they say no, you go back to asking if they're refusing to test you. If they say yes, ask them "are you willing to swear to that under penalty of perjury?" Hopeful that'll change their tune.
I also would buy myself a few packets of cotton buds, one for my bag, one for my other bag, one for my coat/jacket or each coat and one for my car etc, so that you never find that you forget to carry a pack with you.

Of course, this is something we have to decide for ourselves. Knowledge is power, but:
Read and study the Word of God, revere (fear) His power, humble yourself and seek the Lord, and He will bless you and guide you in all decision making.
You see, the Word of God is the best guide for all aspects of life. Stay in the Word, apply it, knowing you are on the side of wisdom and righteousness.
My challenge then is this: Pose a question regarding your daily life in the comments or via DM. Can I find applicable and practical scriptural advice for it? I am adamant God has the answer, and so do you--through His Word.
How to Pray
Lord, You are my law-giver, my friend, and my chief advisor.
Lord, help me to seek and find the instructions for my life You have placed divinely in the Bible.
Lord, let Your Word be my instruction manual for life.
Lord, grant me discernment and an ever-lasting hunger for Your Word so that I never fail You.
Lord, forgive me for not regarding Your Word as my guide, even for daily living.
Hebrews 4:12
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
In Jesus' name
Amen
