Scripture for the Day Dec 28th 2020: Detox

On Thursday last week, I started a mild liver therapy program. At first, I felt great, energetic, hopeful, and good.

But on Saturday afternoon, I started feeling sick. Sunday wasn't much better. Today, on Monday, other symptoms added themselves to my lousy condition during the night. But I commanded that thing to go, in the name of Jesus, and I am feeling better now. I am convinced this sickness results from detoxing. How do I know? Well, I don't. But I also don't like wine anymore. Go figure.

As I was contemplating my condition, the LORD showed me parallels to spiritual poisoning. The enemies of God have thoroughly ruined this Christmas. The bad taste of their evil lingers over everything they day and do.

The ONLY way to shield ourselves from their poison is not to consume it. Admittedly, I scan the headlines, but all networks are out, inc. Fox and Newsmax. See, Newsmax feature a little rat in disguise Rob Smith or whatever its name, who gleefully calls arch criminal biden President elect. Poison alert! Traitor in our midst. Newsmax is out.

Spiritual Detox is a little time-consuming. Just like its physical counterpart, it can take time, and it can be uncomfortable. See the Milkthistle as God's word, that tries to rid the body of GMO-laced foods, unpurified water residue, and contaminated air. All man-made, by the way.

Let's bow our hearts and pray:

Detox me, O Lord!

Detox my Heart

Just ASK the Lord to cleanse your heart, and He will do it.

“Prove me, O Lord, and try me; test my heart and my mind” (Psalm 26:2).

“Who can discern his errors? Declare me innocent from hidden faults. Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me!” (Psalm 19:12–13).

“Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name” (Psalm 86:11).

Detox my Eyes

“Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways” (Psalm 119:37).

“I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken” (Psalm 16:8).

“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore” (Psalm 16:11).

Detox my Tongue

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer” (Psalm 19:14).

“We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done” (Psalms 78:4).

“I say to the Lord, ‘You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you” (Psalms 16:2).

Detox my Deeds

“Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it” (Psalm 34:14).

“Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute” (Psalm 82:3).

“Keep steady my steps according to your promise, and let no iniquity get dominion over me” (Psalm 119:133).

Thank you, Lord!

In Jesus' name
Amen

BIDEN’S FOLLYTHE LAW OF UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCESWhat it Means to Eliminate the Oil Industry Among Other ThingsBy E.P. Unum I wrote this essay back in the summer of 2020. Now that Joe Biden is President, it bears repeating because much of what feared has, sadly, already taken place. Many Democrats and Liberals like to shout and scream about how we all need to become more climate-conscious. They like to march down streets and wave their placards and makeshift flags about the need to eliminate fracking and do away with fossil fuels. Make no mistake, the self-anointed leader of the Democratic Party, Joe Biden promised during his Presidential campaign that he would not "do away with fracking or oi
