Scripture for the Day Nov 24th 2020: Closing Christian Schools? Not so Fast!

I was looking prayerfully for inspiration for today's Devotional when the Lord directed me to a news aggregator. As soon as I saw the headline below, I knew what the Lord wanted the subject to be.

Biden Urged to Jerk Accreditation of Christian Schools Without 'Science-Based Curricula Standards'

A search-engine revealed the driving force behind the assault on Christian education: the sodomites, aka LGBT. It makes perfect sense because those choosing a sinful life would like to do so with the blessing of the world and their gods, even our God. How sad. But trying to remove Christians from the public and political discourse doesn't change the fact that there are only two places in eternity: Heaven and H e l l. Whether they deny the God of creation or the two options of destiny, all of us will go to one of the two. There is no third.

Most unbelievers have not read the Bible front to back. Many Christians haven't either, sadly. If that’s you, make a note to read the Bible in just 90 days next year and do it! But why wait? Start today!

Those who read the Bible in its entirety AND understand science know, science confirms the Bible.

Dr. Missler - The Biblical Science Guy

When I became a Christian, I was a rebellious, stubborn, can-do-it-all-on-my-own kinda guy who needed to learn to surrender to God and trust Him. My first instinct was to seek confirmation of scientifically proven facts in the Bible. My search led me to an amazing teacher, Dr. Chuck Missler. He had a reputation for proving the validity of the Bible with scientific facts. He then wrapped everything up and brought things into cultural and historical context. You can find Dr. Missler's teachings at the Koinonia Institute website and on YouTube. Dr. Missler approached things pragmatically. He would dissect every Bible word and explore the Hebrew, Aramaic, or Greek meaning. He could spend hours on a single verse and do so with humor, wit, and competence. He would relate the historical settings to our world.  For example, he'd say: "So Moses called his executives to a leadership team meeting, and they formed an intelligence agency to spy out the cities on the other side of the river..." you get the point. Dr. Missler was entertaining and highly educational. He played a significant role in building my faith. I am grateful to God for Chuck Missler. His ministry lives on today.

What are these scientific facts then the Bible confirms?

Six Hints of Divine Inspiration

The header image already lists six scientific facts. But also consider these God-inspired Scientific facts listed in the image below.

The Inside Scoop

But if you really like to get the inside scoop, God's conversation with Job, Job Chapter 38-41 is a treasure of scientific facts. From biology to meteorology and cosmology, God even mentions the chains of the Pleiades and the cords of Orion (the belt). Mind you, Job is the oldest book of the Bible, written at the time of Abraham. He mentions the satellites of the Bear constellation. He talks about light waves used for radio communication, and the powers that keep the waters of the oceans in their beds and from overflowing. He speaks about the division of light (prisms) and our consciousness (understanding to the mind). And these, dear brothers and sisters, are examples only from Chapter 38! Go ahead, read them! They're faith-builders par excellence.

Biden's minions who want to close Christian schools deny science. They dispute the validity of X and Y chromosomes. They claim there are dozens, if not hundreds, of sexes. Science for the deaf and blind.

Oh, and Mr. Biden and followers: Don't push the envelope too far. Even God's patience is limited. The inhabitants of Sodom, Gomorrah, and the five fallen cities nearby, (for which there is archeological evidence) found out the hot, pardon me, the hard way.

Here is some scientific advice (Wisdom), Mr. Biden and pals:

Sometimes I wish I had become a lawyer. I would take these people to court and shut them up for good. But even though I am not a lawyer, I still am an advocate for God in the world.
And the best of all? We are on the winning team!
Well then, let's keep winning, Winning, WINNING!

God knows best!

Let's bow our hearts and pray:

LORD, all praise be to You.
Thank You for Your Word.
ThankYou for Your Wisdom.
ThankYou for confirming science within Your Word with facts that man could not have known in biblical times.
Thank You for keeping us destined for eternity with You.
Thank You for a kingdom in which righteousness reigns and evil has perished.
And Thank You, LORD, for my brothers and sisters, for our salvation.

May many more be saved.

in Jesus' name
Amen

BIDEN’S FOLLYTHE LAW OF UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCESWhat it Means to Eliminate the Oil Industry Among Other ThingsBy E.P. Unum I wrote this essay back in the summer of 2020. Now that Joe Biden is President, it bears repeating because much of what feared has, sadly, already taken place. Many Democrats and Liberals like to shout and scream about how we all need to become more climate-conscious. They like to march down streets and wave their placards and makeshift flags about the need to eliminate fracking and do away with fossil fuels. Make no mistake, the self-anointed leader of the Democratic Party, Joe Biden promised during his Presidential campaign that he would not "do away with fracking or oi
