There is nothing more powerful we humans can do than giving thanks to God.
Whenever I pray, I thank God in advance, knowing that the Heavenly Father will answer my request.

It goes something like this: Heavenly Father; I pray for Gary's sinus pains to go right now. I command every pain, migraine, discomfort and their root causes to leave his body now! Body: do your job! Be healed, Gary, in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father!
In the morning, I thank the Lord for another day. I thank Him for seemingly insignificant things: that cab I needed to flag down. It happened yesterday again: I didn't have access to a car and needed to get home fast, so I asked the Lord to send one. Before I had even finished formulating the prayer in my mind, a cab showed up. THANK YOU LORD. You're awesome!
It's an open secret among successful Christians: worship, praise, and thanksgiving applied continually please the Lord, and He blesses us for involving Him in our life. Let's face it; it's the logical thing to do. Why wouldn't we ask the One for Whom nothing is impossible for Help AND be grateful for His power, His wisdom, His care, His help, and His love?
One of the greatest Christian songs is this one by Don Moen. Take it in, enjoy it with a grateful heart. Thank Him today for this week and for the next. Thank you, Lord, you are awesome!
